The metal Kansa is bronze, an alloy of copper and tin. First made 5,000 years ago it is considered to be the healing metal of Ayurveda. Ayurvedic teachings encourage eating and drinking from alkalinizing metals like Kansa vessels which has wellness benefits for our health and well being. Metal will smudge naturally with oils from your fingers. Marks are easily removed with a solution of white vinegar and salt. Gently rub on surface. Rinse and dry with soft cloth.
